Webgility’s Best Release Yet: What’s New In Webgility 8.0

We’re excited to announce the release of Webgility v8. We took feedback from customers big and small, our internal implementation teams, support staff, and accounting and bookkeeping partners to deliver this release. The common theme was that the product was incredibly feature-rich but we needed to make it more intuitive and adaptive.

We’ve simplified many aspects of the product that seemed complex; we’ve made the user interface for settings more intuitive; we’ve made it easier to find advanced options; and, we’ve reduced duplicate effort for multi-channel setup.

There are also a number of feature improvements which the team has worked on for the past 6 months. Webgility v8 is packed with new features and usability updates that will make automating your ecommerce operations easier and faster than ever before.

New Navigation Architecture

We’ve revamped all the menus so it’s easy to find what you need and there is no unnecessary clutter. All connections are now in one Integrations menu. We’ve also categorized all the connections under Store, Accounting/POS/ERP, Payments, Shipping, CRM and Others.

New Modular and Adaptive Interface

Webgility v8 takes all the clutter away and adapts to your business needs. Various modules, menus and screens are intelligently updated as you add new connections or change your settings. As you add more features, more menus and buttons get introduced so you don’t see anything you don’t need.

We’ve enhanced automation rules for all modules including accounting, inventory and products. 

Product automation rules put everything you need at your fingertips. That is, when it’s not out of sight because it’s automated! Set up the high-level store sync settings for general guidelines and then hit the next tab for item-level details of quantity and pricing. Or, if you don’t want to sync a product at all, you have that option, too. Keep control over your store inventory without micromanaging your warehouse.

Speaking of micromanaging your warehouse, set up some rules for shipping and let it take care of itself. Go beyond default shipping providers and standard package sizes. Energize your fulfillment operations with predetermined shipping settings based on conditions of the order that you configure.

Faster Onboarding and Setup

With a more streamlined navigation system and a better user interface, there is less minutiae to handle between sign-up and launch. Onboarding is now much more efficient so you can get to work in less time. Once you’re connected to your accounting, point of sale or ERP system, you can copy over the connection and related settings easily as you add more channels.

We’ve revamped the settings design for the entire application. Everything is now easier to find and easier to understand so you can take control of Webgility and make adjustments with confidence.

All the settings for a store connection are now under a separate menu and available from one area.
