Webgility's Response to COVID-19

Written by Parag Mamnani, Webgility CEO | Mar 18, 2020 8:11:03 AM

To our customers, partners, and the ecommerce community:

We face a number of difficult challenges today in business and our personal lives due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This pandemic has touched all aspects of our lives, with implications for the broader economy and the health of people around the world. While addressing the challenges, we are all reacting in real-time to the ongoing measures being taken by our governments to help us overcome them. I’m writing this post to share with you a little about what we’re doing here at Webgility.

First of all, I’m very pleased to share that all the team members of the Webgility family are safe and healthy. We have taken several actions to ensure our team is healthy and available to serve you. And during these tough times, we are collectively rooting for all our customers and partners—especially small businesses—to win the fight against this pandemic and overcome the financial impact that it will undoubtedly have in the short-term.

On March 12, I directed all US staff to begin working remotely for the foreseeable future. Since our team has operated in a distributed model for many years, we employ a broad range of technologies that enable effective remote collaboration. So, our service levels for customers and partners remain largely unchanged—with maybe a few more dogs barking in the background.

For our team in Indore, India, things are evolving rapidly. Though no local cases have been reported, we have mobilized our operations team to implement remote work policy in phases starting March 19. Though we do not expect significant impact to our customers, there may be disruption to our responsiveness during this transition. Please be patient with us as we take these steps.

As part of our business continuity plan, we’re also taking a number of other measures to shore up our operations, safety and infrastructure. These steps will ensure that we can continue to serve our customers and partners without interruption.

If you have any questions or if we can help you or your business during these difficult times, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your account manager or to me directly at parag@webgility.com or @paragmamnani on Twitter.

Please be safe, stay healthy and take care of yourself and your loved ones.
